"The Animal of Your Heart" Mask Making Workshop

I tell the children my story, "The Elephant of My Heart". Then I ask if they would like to meet their Heart's Animal. I then take them on a short visualisation to meet their Heart's Animal that includes relaxation and grounding. 

Once the children have found their Heart's Animal I ask them to ask him/her a question. This question is, "What can I do for you?" Then I ask them to do whatever their Heart's Animal requires.

Once the visualisation is over I ask them to write their adventure down using two very simple statements.

"The Animal of My Heart is a ...."

"The Animal of My Heart asked me to ...."

Then we get creative making masks, claws, paws and even tails of their animals.
